I believe every mom has at least once spanked their kid,i admit i did it too. but i prefer time-out so much more than spanking now, it gives him time to think what he did wrong, everytime when i put freddie in a corner for time-out, he would be as sad as being spanked. then i would ask him to calm down and think what he did wrong, if he can tell me what he did wrong,then time out is over.( of course the first few times , you need to help him to say what he did wrong,let him repeat.). i remember the first time i put him in the time out corner, i had to stand right behind him, otherwise, he wouldn't stay. after a few times, he would just go and stay.very handy discipline way,freddie even tried to use that on Alex,But in think Alex is still too young to understand it yet, so i haven't try it on him yet. kid like this age can be a real devil sometimes,maybe he didn’t get enough rest,or he has some issues with other little kids at school,Don’t worry, i think it’s him learning dealing with the real world.
